company BegInning/ INTERMEDIATE CONTEMPORARY (ages 13-Adult) *Audition required
This is a dance company class held for company dancers! *Audition is required. *Class LOCATION TBD IN RALEIGH, NC. Class tuition includes the cost to cover costumes.
60-min dance warm-up, across the floor, and beautiful choreography with the best music. Company dancers will perform company choreography for local CHURCHES AND arts organizations 2x’s In FALL/WINTER 2025. Dancers are required to attend all classes to be able to participate in performances. *2 absences will be allowed for the SEMESTER due to illness, injury, or an emergency.

meet the owner
Meet the Owner of Rise Dance Company, Jess Allen! Jess has been dancing for over 20 years. Growing up, She trained with Virginia Tidewater Ballet and lehman ballet where she danced in the nuTcracker and many other ballets. She has also performed in several musicals, INCLUDING grease, cinderella, and the sound of music. Jess attended Meredith College where she received her B.A. in Dance Studies and a Minor in Music. She was a dancer for Meredith Dance Theatre (Meredith’s modern dance company), a Nu Delta Alpha member, and a featured choreographer in MDT’s gala! Jess also has EXPERIENCE as a professional ballroom dancer and teacher where she taught many couples their wedding dance or various smooth and latin dance styles. She was coached by National champions, such as, Chelsea Hightower from SYTYCD AND other latin coaches. She has been a dance teacher for almost 15 years and loves seeing the joy that dance brings to others. In jess’s free time, she enjoys traveling to the mountains or the beach, spending time with her husband and son, and reading a good book.
